Collapse ▲Legal Education Faculty from the agricultural and natural resource economics departments of the regional land grant universities of North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, as well as the West Virginia Law School, have planned and scheduled the Mid-Atlantic Agriculture Law Conference. The event expects to qualify for continuing legal education credits in multiple mid-Atlantic states (including the District of Columbia). Conference agenda will be released shortly, topics include heirs property, farm succession, conservation easements, solar siting, and zoning matters, delivered by legal practitioners. This event will be held on October 28-29, 2025, at the National Conservation Training Center, 698 Conservation Way, Shepherdstown, WV 25443.
Tentative Schedule
October 28: Evening social and bonus continuing legal education (CLE) session
October 29: A full day of continuing legal education, including heirs property, land use and solar development
Additional agenda and speaker details will be released closer to the event.

Lodging
Accommodations are available at the National Conservation Training Center and include meals. The rate is $210 per night, including dinner on Oct. 28, and breakfast and lunch on Oct. 29.
