There are many questions concerning the recent ruling by EPA and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to end the Navigable Waters Protection Rule (NWPR), reverting to the pre-2015 "Clean Water Rule" (also referred to as WOTUS in the media today).
We have a virtual meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 11th at 10:30 AM to discuss the proposed changes and explore a few of the impacts these changes will have on your farm and property. Click here to register for this meeting.
Andrew Branan, JD, Assistant Extension Professor in the Department of Agriculture and Resource Economics at NC State University, will discuss the differences in the former, current, and proposed rules from a legal viewpoint. (Branan's proposed presentation)
Chad Poole, PhD., Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist in the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at NC State University, will join us to explore the impacts from an engineering perspective.
