The North Carolina Tree Farm Association and the Forestry Department at the NC State College of Natural Resources will host a webinar at noon on Thursday, May 25. The program - presented by Robert Andrew Branan, Assistant Extension Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics (ARE) - will cover the path to current federal water and land disturbance regulations concerning forestry and wetlands, as well as state regulation. Specific topics covered will be wetlands delineation policy, stream identification and disturbance, overview of buffer rules, and status of drainage ditches and existing dams.
