(Updated: May 27, 2020, 1:08 p.m.)

[This thread will be continually updated.  An ad-hoc group of Cooperative Extension educators from several universities recently convened to share, discuss, and offer analysis on the legal issues presented by Covid-19 to farms and other agribusiness.  A number of entities across the country are producing material on CARES, PPP and other programs, and they are being listed here for educational purposes.]

UPDATEThe PPP program has apparently "run out of money."  Secretary Perdue has announced a new program for farmers totaling $19 Billion ($16 billion in direct payments and $3 billion in government purchase of commodities).  A separate piece on the structure of that program will be posted soon.

The Farmers Legal Action Group has released the publication Farmers Guide to Covid-19 Relief (April 2020).  This guide appears to be quite comprehensive.

The National Agricultural Law Center is developing a Covid-19 Resource Library.  This site contains an aggregated FAQ on the program with multiple contributors.
