Conference: Brown Presents Latest on BOI Requirements, Helene Tax Rules

Nicholas Brown, an editor for Farm Law & Tax, recently gave a presentation at the 2025 N.C. Cooperative Extension State Conference in Greensboro, North Carolina on January 8.  Brown presented the latest updates on beneficial ownership information (BOI) reporting requirements and specific tax rules for farmers who sold livestock due to Hurricane Helene (or other disastrous storms like Hurricane Debby).  Access those slides online.
